Holiness Is Possible Through The Holy Spirit
In Ezekiel 36:27 God said, “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgements and do them.”
In our study of the Book of Romans on Sunday mornings this is exactly what is being described. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. God sent Jesus to pay our debt and to give us the gift of righteousness by simply believing and receiving Him.
What the law of Moses could not do, God did. The law could tell us how sinful we were, but it had no power to change us. God the Father sent Jesus to fulfill the law and then die for our failure to keep the law. And, because we believed in Jesus and received Him as Lord, there is no condemnation.

Now the Spirit of God has been sent to live in us and make holiness possible. All we have to do is set our mind on the things of the Spirit. Now if we let the Lord lead us through the Holy Spirit in us, we will experience victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. He will cause us to walk in His ways and to keep His statutes.
